Mystery March – Robin Bowles

Okay, I admit it!   I have been a bad book blogger…… it appears as if I haven’t read anything for three months!  Not true, I just haven’t blogged for three months, I was a bit over the restriction of a genre for each month.  Not sure how I am going to get around it in the long term but I have enough motivation for Mystery March.

My mystery is for older teens/adults and fits into Australian Crime Fiction and is a series by Robin Bowles, set in Melbourne about a character called Cornelia Finnigan. The first, The Curse of the Golden Yo Yo focuses on private detective Cornelia having to locate a yo yo that once belonged to Elvis. It was  fun and yet enthralling enough read that I then searched for more of the series.  The next, Mystery of the Missing Masterpiece was equally engaging but still in the lighter category of mystery/crime fiction which made it an ejoyable summer read.
